Our Approach - Methodology - Theoretical Orientation
In experiential therapy we facilitate a shift
in how people experience themselves and the resulting change in their
thoughts, feelings, perceptions and communications, which connects to
their bodies, minds, spirits and interpersonal relations. This shift is
not just a brief
improvement of the presenting symptoms, but a long-term change. We do
not treat "symptoms" or "fix" children. Instead, we focus on
strengthening each individual child or family unit, increasing their
positive self-concept, self-worth, and ability to self-regulate in their
specific environment.
